Woman duped of over Rs 1.5 lakh in online loan fraud

Fake loan apps and unauthorised bank transactions are believed to be behind the fraud

A cyber fraud case was registered in South Goa after a woman reported a financial loss of over 1.5 lakh linked to suspicious online loan applications and unauthorised transactions from her bank account. An investigation is underway.
