Karapur villagers give panchayat 10-day ultimatum to stop Lodha project

Karapur villagers have given the panchayat a 10-day ultimatum to withdraw the proposed mega housing project by the House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL), warning that they will launch a peaceful protest by assembling on the highway if their demand is not met. 

The Karapur gram panchayat has passed nine resolutions against Section 39A and eight unanimous resolutions opposing urbanisation and the proposed HoABL mega housing project. They have urged the authorities to respect the gram panchayat's unanimous resolutions and protect the village's land and rights.
