Sale of petrol in loose containers banned in North Goa

Fuel stations will serve only vehicle tanks, while storage of fuel in homes is prohibited

The North Goa District Magistrate has issued a circular banning the sale of petrol/diesel in loose containers at fuel stations. Fuel will now be dispensed only directly into vehicle tanks.

Unauthorized storage at homes or unapproved places is strictly prohibited. Authorities have warned of strict legal action, with regular inspections by police and fire services to ensure compliance.
