Ponnjekars Against Casinos on Tuesday followed up on its complaint regarding the alleged entry of minors and persons below 21 years into offshore casinos, claiming that no action has been taken even two months after the complaint was filed at the Panaji Police Station.
They have also approached the Gaming Commissioner and Children's Commissioner, stating that inducing children into gambling is an offence under the Goa Children's Act. Alleging that the government favours casinos, they warned of legal action if authorities fail to act.
