The Goa Government has notified revised stamp duty rates on property conveyances, ranging from 3% to 6% based on the value of the property. The notification also provides concessional stamp duty for unilateral deemed conveyances and exempts stamp duty on conveyances executed by members in favour of their co-operative housing societies. The changes have been published in the official Gazette (Extraordinary), Series I No. 14, dated 6 July 2026, and have come into force with immediate effect.
