Congress alleges 'one law, two standards' over FIRs against student protesters

Goa Congress criticised the registration of FIRs against students protesting at Azad Maidan, in Panjim, while alleging that no action was taken against BJP leaders over a road blockade protest.

Questioning whether the law is being applied equally, the party claimed there was "one law, two standards" and asked whether the administration was acting under pressure from Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant.
