Bicholim tragedy: Father kills son, ends own life

A father allegedly killed his 14-year-old son over disputes before taking his own life. Police investigations are underway

In a tragic incident in Bicholim, on 16 March, 58-year-old Sanjay Mhapsekar allegedly took the life of his 14-year-old son, Sanchit, over behavioural disputes, before ending his own life.

A post-mortem confirmed asphyxia in both cases. Police are investigating.
