Leader of the Opposition, Yuri Alemao, has moved the Bill, drafted by Justice (Retd) Ferdino Rebello on 16 February 2026, urging the Speaker to take it up for consideration and allow a debate on the issue involving MLA Viresh Borkar, who was allegedly inhumanely dragged by police officials.
