Dalgado Konknni Akademi organised a book release programme at St Christopher’s Church, Tivim, where two books by Annie de Colvale were launched. Ghostachem Rand Ruchin Jev is a Goan recipe book, while Jivit Ek Pustok is a poetry collection.
Chief guest Celso Fernandes praised the Akademi’s efforts in promoting Romi Konkani. Fr Francisco Fernandes also commended the author’s contribution to the language. The programme concluded with the national anthem.
