Yuri Alemao opposes new fish meal plant in Cuncolim

Cuncolim MLA Yuri Alemao has opposed any fresh permission for M/s Goan Marine Impex Pvt. Ltd. to set up a fish meal production plant in Cuncolim. 

He alleged that ministers and the government are pressuring the CMC Chief Officer to clear the proposal, despite the council having earlier rejected permission, and said he would not allow the project to proceed.
