Woman duped of Rs 4.47 lakh in fake part-time job scam

The fraudsters lured her through social media and persuaded her to make multiple money transfers

A woman from Nuvem lost Rs 4.47 lakh after falling victim to a fake part-time job scam promoted through social media. The fraudsters initially gained her trust before convincing her to transfer larger sums of money. Goa Police have registered a case.
