Woman dies in accidental firing incident in Sanguem

The victim died after the rifle, which the accused was jokingly pointing at her, accidentally misfired

A 23-year-old man, Sweth Gaude, allegedly shot his 21-year-old friend Tanvi Ghadi during a gathering in Kazur, Sanguem, after jokingly pointing a rifle that accidentally discharged. The victim succumbed to her injuries, while the accused has been detained. Both are residents of Sanquelim.
