Waterfall safety: Tourism minister urges public to avoid undesignated areas

Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte said that, as advised by the Forest Department and notified through the Collector, lifeguards have been deployed at designated waterfalls. He urged the public not to venture into waterfalls or areas that have not been officially demarcated for visitors. Khaunte warned that authorities will not be responsible for incidents occurring in such restricted locations. He also appealed to parents to counsel their children and ensure they follow safety guidelines during the monsoon season.
