Residents of Mainwada, Korgao village, have complained about salty and bad-tasting drinking water. Around 15 houses are facing the issue, with locals stating that the poor-quality water may cause diseases. Residents suspect the salty water could be due to a pipeline leakage in the Mansi Wada area and have requested the PWD Department to check the water. They also raised concerns that monthly bills are not being received, resulting in high meter readings after four months.

Women residents have warned of a protest at the Pernem PWD office if the issue is not resolved within a week.
