Vishwajit Rane admits rat incident at GMC; seeks strict action

Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has admitted that the rat incident occurred at the Goa Medical College (GMC). Following this, a meeting has been sought with the dean and other officials to discuss strict measures to control the rat problem. 

"Strict action should mean actual corrective measures," recalling that previous strict action at GMC had drawn criticism, including an earlier incident where a chair was kept aside as an apology to a doctor.
