Vijai Sardesai signals GFP may go solo, questions Congress' credibility

Goa Forward Party chief Vijai Sardesai hinted that the party may distance itself from its alliance with Congress, saying the reasons being cited for the rift are "petty" and that he wants to focus on the stand taken by his party. 

He questioned Congress' credibility, stating that its past actions have created doubt among Goans, and said the GFP Political Affairs Committee has decided to strengthen the party independently for the time being.
