Veteran sports administrator and India's first Asian Games shooting gold medallist, Randhir Singh passed away in New Delhi at the age of 79 following prolonged age-related health complications. He was undergoing treatment for the past few days before passing away at his residence on Wednesday, 27 May. Singh had recently resigned as President of the Olympic Council of Asia citing health reasons, less than two years after taking charge in 2024.
