A large tree collapsed onto the house of Dayanand Nanoskar at Kholpewadi, Sal, Bicholim, on Friday night, June 26. The family had earlier submitted written requests to the authorities seeking permission and necessary action to cut the tree, warning that it posed a danger. However, no action was taken, and the tree eventually fell, causing damage to the house. No injuries were reported
