The Voice For Goem impact: Valpoi CHC doctor suspended over alleged negligence

Dr Yavanti Gawde of Valpoi CHC suspended over alleged negligence in treating an 11-year-old boy from Sattari after a report confirmed lapses; inquiry ordered.

Dr Yavanti Gawde of Valpoi Community Health Centre has been suspended over alleged negligence in the treatment of an 11-year-old boy from Maloli, Sattari. The Health Department has initiated a departmental inquiry following a preliminary report that confirmed lapses. Action was taken after The Voice for Goa highlighted the issue in a detailed report.
