Supreme Court orders fresh hearing in Goa weightlifting coach selection

The Supreme Court directed a fresh hearing after noting that candidate Vaishnavi S Ugadekar was not heard

The Supreme Court has set aside the Bombay High Court at Goa's order in the selection of a Grade IV Weightlifting Coach and ordered a fresh hearing. The Court noted that weightlifter Vaishnavi S Ugadekar, one of the two candidates, was not heard by the High Court.

The matter has been sent back to the High Court for fresh consideration after hearing both candidates.
