Special trains announced from Vasco to Velankanni for Feast 2026

To manage the surge in pilgrims during the Velankanni (Vailankanni) Feast this year, the South Western Railway will operate three pairs of special express trains between Vasco Da Gama and Velankanni from August 27 to September 9. The trains will stop at major stations including Madgaon, Hubballi, SMVT Bengaluru, Salem, Tiruchirappalli and Thanjavur, and will have 19 coaches comprising AC 3-tier, sleeper and general classes. 

Passengers are advised to check the detailed schedule and halts on the Indian Railways enquiry portal before booking and travelling.
