The CJP protest in Goa faced last-minute permission denial, detentions and a High Court intervention ordering the release of protesters. The Voice reports

Several major developments took place in Goa on Sunday, including multiple protests. One of the most significant was the CJP protest planned at Azad Maidan. Permission was denied at the last minute by the authorities, and the protest was temporarily shifted to another location.

The question is what happened during the CJP protest. Permission was denied in the evening, protesters were detained, and the matter eventually reached the High Court, which ordered their release and medical examinations for those who were injured.

To analyse the situation, Chief Editor of The Voice, Vishwanath Nene, talks to senior Goan journalist and Gaonkaari editor Kishor Naik Gaonkar.
