BJP leader Sanket Arsekar alleged that some leaders were using the issue to further their political interests

BJP leader Sanket Arsekar criticised Speaker Ganesh Gaonkar over the ST reservation issue, alleging that some leaders are raising the demand out of fear of losing their election ticket.

Arsekar said he has consistently supported ST reservation and noted that several leaders have been advocating for it over the past two years. He urged people to distinguish between those who have genuinely fought for ST reservation and those who are raising the issue for political gain.
