Revenue dept notifies 56 villages for urbanisation

Many residents of these villages continue to be unaware of the notification and the deadline to submit suggestions and objections

Pernem, Arambol, Mandrem, Morjim, Parcem, Anjuna, Calangute, Candolim, Colvale, Colva, Guirim, Moira, Nerul, Saligao, Reis Magos, Siolim, Madkai, Orgao, Borim, Bandora and Khandepar are among the 56 villages identified as ‘urban areas’ by the Revenue Department.

Many residents are still unaware of the notification and the opportunity to submit their suggestions and objections before the deadline.
