Punjab murder accused held by Mandrem police

The accused was spotted moving suspiciously near Bhumika Temple in Ashwem

Mandrem police arrested a 24-year-old man from Punjab after finding him moving about in a suspicious manner near Bhumika Temple in Ashwem. During the inquiry, police found that the accused, Diljeet alias Rahul, is wanted in a murder case registered in Amritsar, Punjab.

He was arrested under Section 35 of the BNSS and is currently in judicial custody. A Punjab police team is expected to arrive in Goa to take him into their custody.
