PSI Prathamesh Gawas transferred to Reserve Line amid custodial assault allegations

Gawas is accused of assaulting a youth in custody, who subsequently died by suicide

PSI Prathamesh Gawas has been transferred from Valpoi Police Station to the Reserve Line following allegations that he assaulted a youth, Mohin Shaikh, while he was in custody. The family has alleged that Mohin Shaikh later died by suicide following the alleged assault.
