Utpal Parrikar, son of former Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, has joined forces with former CCP mayors Surendra Furtado and Vaidehi Naik, among others, under the banner of ‘Ami Panjekar’ to contest the upcoming CCP elections.
Utpal explained that ‘Ami Panjekar’ brings together both senior and young members, and also emphasised the absence of symbols, the purest form of democracy, the importance of good candidates, as well as issues like casinos and ethics, among other topics.
