Preparations for the Shri Damodar Bhajani Saptah officially began on Monday, July 20, 2026. Committee President Bharat Kolgaonkar, along with Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar, offered prayers at the Shri Damodar Temple and sought divine blessings for the successful conduct of the festival. Committee Secretary Suresh Naik announced that committee members will visit Zambaulim on Thursday, 23 July 2026 as part of the traditional pre-festival rituals.
