Pratima Coutinho expresses interest in contesting from Navelim

Congress leader Pratima Coutinho has expressed willingness to contest the upcoming Goa Assembly elections from the Navelim constituency, and said she hopes the Congress party will nominate her as its candidate. She said that although several aspirants are seeking the Congress ticket from Navelim, the party leadership is well aware of those who have consistently worked for the welfare of the constituency. 

Coutinho added that the Congress high command will take the final decision on the candidate. She also reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people of Navelim and said she would continue to work for the constituency, regardless of the party's decision.
