Elephant Omkar has been creating havoc in the area for the past two days. On Tuesday, 25 August, morning, the elephant entered the coconut plantation of Tulsidas Shirodkar, at Tamboxem, and damaged four banana plants.
The elephant's repeated movement in the area has raised concerns among local residents and farmers, who fear further damage to plantations and crops.
