Omkar Elephant Menace: Babu Ajgaonkar gives financial aid to affected farmers

Farmers from Tamboxem and Torxem, in Pernem, have suffered extensive damage to their farms and plantations due to regular elephant raids over the past two to three days. 

Former MLA and Deputy Chief Minister Babu Ajgaonkar met the affected farmers and provided financial assistance to those affected. He also urged the government to immediately compensate the farmers and called for measures to safely drive away elephants from the area or establish an effective protection system to prevent further damage.
