Students of Mahatma Gandhi Centenary School, Gaunem, delivered an impressive performance at the Padma Bhushan Manohar Parrikar Memorial 57th Goa State Athletics Championship 2026, held at the Atal Athletics Stadium, Cujira, Bambolim, from July 30 to August 1.
The school won a total of nine medals, including three gold, four silver, and two bronze. The medal winners were Ishwar, Sanay, Purab, Bhaktesh, Daksh, Soham, Gorak, Druvika, and Valanka. The school management, headmistress, PTA, teaching and non-teaching staff congratulated the students and physical education teacher Hanumant Naik on their outstanding achievement.
