Goan rapper Waking Grunt becomes the first Konkani artist to be inducted into The Recording Academy

Goan rapper Amit Jaiwant Naik, popularly known as Waking Grunt, has been inducted as a Voting Member of The Recording Academy, the organisation behind the Grammy Awards. He is the first Konkani artist to receive this distinction, marking a significant achievement for Konkani music and Goa on the global music stage.
