Khaunte calls for strict action to protect Goa’s tourism image

The minister has called for swift action to ensure visitor safety

Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte has raised concerns about activities affecting Goa's tourism image, calling for stricter police enforcement at popular destinations.

He noted that misconduct by outsiders and the presence of touts are damaging the state's reputation and urged authorities to act swiftly to eliminate illegal practices and ensure a safe environment for visitors.
