Karnataka mulls withdrawing SC case in Mhadei row

The final decision in the matter is expected next week

Karnataka is evaluating whether to withdraw its pending Supreme Court petition in the Mhadei dispute as part of efforts to speed up the Kalasa-Bhandura project. Irrigation Minister Ramalinga Reddy said the proposal will be discussed with the Chief Minister, Advocate General and senior legal experts before a final decision is taken next week.
