Goa is currently receiving light to moderate rainfall, but the showers remain uneven across the state. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) expects rainfall to improve gradually from July 18. However, no heavy rainfall is expected in the next 10 days. The IMD has attributed the rainfall deficit to the absence of a low-pressure system over the Bay of Bengal, reduced moisture supply, and dry winds over Goa.
