Preparations are underway in Maina, Curtorim, for the traditional Handi Khuris Feast, also known as Xetkaranchem Fest or Farmers' Feast, on Thursday, August 20. The feast is celebrated by farmers and devotees who pray for a bountiful harvest and seek blessings for their families, fields and crops.
Mass timings: 6.30 am, 8.30 am, 10.30 am, 3.30 pm and 6 pm. Blessing of Handi Khuris will be at 12 noon.
The annual feast continues to preserve Curtorim's rich religious and agricultural traditions.
