Gulab has declared the Fr Freddy J Da Costa Memorial Gulab Awards 2025 and the Felicio Cardoso Memorial Journalism Award 2025, recognising outstanding contributions to public service, literature, tiatr, agriculture and journalism.
This year's awardees are Adv Carlos Alvares Ferreira (Gulab Personality of the Year), Alvaro Gomes (Romi Konkani Writer Award), Fr George Quadros (Gõykaranchem Daiz Award), Fatima D'Souza (Gulab Tiatrist Award), and Paul Fernandes (Felicio Cardoso Memorial Journalism Award).
The awards will be presented on July 20, 2026, at 3.30 pm at the Black Box, Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, to commemorate the 73rd birth anniversary of the late Fr Freddy J Da Costa.
