GPCC reaffirms no-ticket policy for Congress defectors

Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Girish Chodankar has reiterated that the Congress Party's 2022 decision to deny election tickets to defectors remains unchanged. He said the policy, adopted under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, upholds the values of loyalty, integrity, and political accountability. Chodankar emphasised that the party will prioritise dedicated workers who stood by the Congress during difficult times and remain committed to strengthening its grassroots organisation ahead of future elections.
