Govt cancels permission for inland water sports during monsoon

Water sports permission was withdrawn after the Tourism Department failed to designate specific zones

The Goa government has withdrawn permission for inland water sports during the monsoon season with immediate effect. The Captain of Ports said the decision was taken after the Tourism Department failed to demarcate and notify designated water sports zones, as stated in its submission before the High Court.
