Goa’s Nishka bags gold and silver at karate championship

Nishka Dattaraj Lawande won gold and silver in the Under-14 category

Nishka Dattaraj Lawande of IJKAI-Goa, Panjim, won gold in Kata and silver in Kumite in the Under-14 category at the Indo-Sri Lankan Open Karate Championship 2026, held at the Manohar Parrikar Stadium in Navelim.

Nishka, a student of Sharada Mandir School, Miramar, Panjim, is a 1st Dan Black Belt and trains under Sensei Mahendra Naik.
