Goans’ voting rights should not be decided from Delhi: Vijai

Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai demanded that voter deletions under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) be rolled back, except for deletions involving deceased voters. He said the electoral revision process should be handled by officials in Goa and alleged that the appointment of officials, including Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, was intended to influence the election outcome.
