Goan content creator finishes runner-up in national marine litter reel competition

The reel competition was organised by the Kerala-based Sustera Foundation

Goan content creator Faizan Akabani secured the runner-up position in the national-level Marine Litter Reel Competition, organised by the Sustera Foundation, Kerala. Akabani’s reel, The Sea That Gives Us Life, highlights the impact of marine litter on coastal livelihoods through the story of Benaulim fisherman Francisco ‘Fisherman Pele’ Fernandes. The recognition marks another national achievement for the Goan content creator.
