Goa Seva Dal chief Rajan Ghate detained during Delhi protest

The protesters demanded the Education Minister's resignation and a discussion on the NEET issue

Goa Pradesh Seva Dal Chief Organiser Rajan Ghate was detained by Delhi Police along with Seva Dal volunteers during a flag-hoisting programme at Kisan Bhavan in New Delhi. The group, protesting over the education crisis and demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and a Parliament discussion on the NEET issue, was taken to Hazrat Nizamuddin Police Station and later shifted to an undisclosed location.

Goa Pradesh Seva Dal condemned the detention, calling it an attempt to suppress peaceful democratic dissent.
