The Goa government has approached the Bombay High Court seeking to quash the bail granted to accused Saurabh Luthra, Gaurav Luthra, and Ajay Gupta in the Birch fire tragedy case registered by Anjuna Police.
In its petition, the state argued that the case is serious and sensitive as 25 lives were lost in the tragedy, making the grant of bail unjustified.
The High Court has issued notices to all three accused and fixed the next hearing for 15 June.
