Goa govt launches new housing scheme for STs

The scheme offers up to Rs 1 lakh in aid to eligible ST beneficiaries for house purchase or regularisation

The Goa government has notified the Mukhya Mantri Janjatiya Mhaje Ghar Yojana, providing financial assistance of up to Rs 1 lakh to eligible Scheduled Tribe (ST) beneficiaries for the purchase or regularisation of houses and land under the Mhaje Ghar Yojana. The scheme aims to improve housing access and support home ownership among the ST community.
