The DITE&C, in collaboration with the Digital India BHASHINI Division, held the BHASHINI Rajyam State Engagement Workshop in Panjim to identify Al-powered multilingual solutions for improving citizen services. The workshop showcased the Konkani Large Language Model (LLM) under development and demonstrated Al tools for real-time translation, transcription and speech in Konkani.
IT Minister Rohan Khaunte said the initiative aims to make government services more inclusive by removing language barriers, while officials discussed Al use cases to enhance last-mile governance.
