Panaji Police have registered an Unnatural Death (UD) case after 23-year-old MBBS intern Gowri Narayanan from Kerala was found dead at Hawaii Beach, Dona Paula, on 10 June. A syringe and two vials containing propofol (an anesthetic drug) and a muscle relaxant were recovered from the scene. No visible injury marks were found on the body.
According to police, Narayanan was undergoing treatment for depression and had a history of a previous suicide attempt. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained, and further investigation is underway.
