Foundation stone for 20-bedded Mormugao hospital likely on July 26

The hospital will improve healthcare in the locality

Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar announced that a 20-bedded hospital will soon be built in the constituency on a 4,000 sqm plot. After inspecting the project site with GSIDC officials, Amonkar said the foundation stone is likely to be laid on July 26 by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant, in the presence of Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and GSIDC Chairman Michael Lobo. He added that the hospital would improve healthcare facilities and create employment opportunities for local residents.
