First charter flight from Russia arrives in Goa for 2026–27 tourism season

Goa's first charter flight of the tourism season was operated by Aeroflot

The first charter flight of the 2026-27 tourism season from Ekaterinburg, Russia, arrived at Dabolim International Airport on September 30. The tourists were welcomed with roses, a traditional Divli dance and a Goan brass band. Operated by Aeroflot, the flight marked the beginning of the charter season from the Russian market.

Mauvin Godinho (Minister for Transport) and Akash Deep (Airport Director, Dabolim airport) were also present on the occasion.
